Tenuta Argentiera in brief
Owned 50% by Antinori family and 50% by Fratini family, la Tenuta Argentiera is situated on the coast of Tuscany betweeen Livorno and Grosseto, about 100 km south-west of Florence, on the southernmost border of the small but prestigious Bolgheri DOC zone.
60 of the estate’s 72 hectares are planted with specialized vineyards, all falling into the Bolgheri DOC zone.
The vineyards are situated just over 2 km from the sea on a small plateau at 200 m above sea level, and completely surround by verdant Mediterranean scrubland.
